Statement Of Faith

We Believe

That the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, and the only authoritative Word of God. It is the complete revelation of His will for the humankind. [2 Timothy 3:16-17; Hebrews 1:1-2]

That there is one God eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. [Matthew 28:19; Luke 3:22]

In the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, both divine and human, His perfectly sinless life, His substitutionary death for our sins, His bodily resurrection and His eventual return to the earth for His saints. [Matthew 1:23; Romans 1:3,4; Galatians 1:4; 1 Peter 2:24; 2 Corinthians 5:21; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 ]

That the Lord Jesus died for our sins and that we are saved by grace through faith in the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. [Ephesians 2:8-9; Ephesians 1:7]

In the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit, by which a person is born again to be a child of God. [John 6:44; 2 Thess. 2:13]

In baptism in water, by immersion, after being born again, in the Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit and thus become partakers of the burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. [Romans 6:4-7]

In the necessity of being filled with the Holy Spirit continually in order to have power to be witnesses for Christ and for the provision of power for a victorious Christian living. [Acts 1:5,8; Acts 4:31]

In the blessed hope of the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ which motivates us to a holy living and faithful service. [Titus 2:13; 2 Timothy 4:8]

In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost. Those who are saved will receive the resurrection of life, and those who reject God’s forgiveness through His Son, Jesus Christ, will receive everlasting punishment. [Romans 6:23]

In the spiritual unity of all true believers, the Church, the Body of Christ and that the Church has a Mission to seek and save all who are lost in sin. [Ephesians 4:12-13; Matthew 28:19-20; Hebrews 10:25]
